Southern Hills Dental was established at this location in 1985. In 2012, Dr. Nathan Muaina took over the practice. 

Southern Hills Dental is a stand-alone dental office in the Northwest Village Plaza, with plenty of parking and beautiful, live oak trees out front. Our address is 1509 Northwest Hwy., in Garland, TX.

Meet the Dentists

Nathan Muaina, DMD

Dr. Nathan Muaina received his doctorate of dental medicine in 2010 from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Muaina also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Brigham Young University. Upon completion of his dental degree, Dr. Muaina completed post-doctoral residency training at the University of Texas, School of Dentistry in Houston. This residency training allowed him to learn the latest advanced techniques in implant and cosmetic dentistry, as well as full mouth rehabilitation.

Dr. Muaina is a self-proclaimed “techie” and has recently integrated brand new digital, high tech equipment to Southern Hills Dental. He strives to maintain a standard of excellence in his practice of dentistry while attending continuing education courses around the country. Dr. Muaina’s passion is cosmetic and esthetic dentistry. He loves rebuilding a patient’s smile!

 When he is not fine-tuning his skill as a dentist, Dr. Muaina loves to spend time with his wife Bridgette and their five children Devin, Ty, Westin, Jax, and their newest edition Kalea. They are a rambunctious bunch but continually fill his life with love and joy. He has also recently taken up photography. While still a novice, he loves to travel around the world with his camera in hand. Dr. Muaina is also a wannabe “foodie” and loves to try new foods and restaurants. He is likely to give you a restaurant recommendation at your next visit!  


Kenneth Dibble, DDS, FAGD

Dr. Kenneth Dibble, “Kenny” was born and raised in Sandy Utah. After high school Kenny served a 2-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Bilbao Spain. He then attended the University of Utah where he received a bachelor's degree in Medical Biology. He attended Case Western Reserve University School of Dentistry from 1998-2002. Dr. Dibble is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) and places a high emphasis on continuing his dental education. Dr. Dibble has traveled to the Dominican Republic for over 20 years with the G3 Foundation, providing humanitarian dental help. In 2017 Kenny started his own foundation, “The Gift of Glove” which focuses on baseball needs in underdeveloped areas and countries.

Kenny is married to his high school sweetheart, Angie Mascaro and they have 5 children: 2 boys, 3 girls, and 2 grandbabies. Tayler and Audrey have Breya (3) and Ellis (1) , (Cleveland, Ohio), Branden (San Diego California), Madisen and Parker (Lehi, Utah), Kaylie (Provo soon Texas), and Chelsie. They love their kids and have come to see the great joy in being grandparents!!

Kenny and Angie have lived in Draper Utah for 21 years, have served actively in their community and now look to do the same in their new home in Lucas, TX. They enjoy boating, waterskiing, snowboarding and snow skiing, traveling, baseball, concerts and food!!
